Its interesting to see that advertisers have cottoned onto the unseen battle waged in many households when a baby is introduced into the family mix. This advert makes a tense situation lighter and might allow couples to communicate thier frustrations about what is happening. I think it was cleverly done and a smart parody of many bad “B” grade boxing/fighters movies.

Oh and yes - there is actually a game you can download from the company website - where the baby fights with rubber ducks and other cutsie things.. Ignoring psychoanalysis and concentrating on the pure entertaining/advertising side of the concept, its an original take and angle for the product and achnowledges ther social issue between couples and newborns…. What are your thoughts?

Everyone’s experience is different. Some women find  stitches painful and slow to heal, and others experience much less discomfort. It depends on your physical health. Stitches should have dissolved by three to four weeks after the birth; if they haven’t, or you still feel uncomfortable, seek help from your doctor or health professional.
